NEW ALBUM

In her second studio album Song Of A Girl (June 2026, XJAZZ! Music), Berlin-based jazz vocalist Anna Margolina sets poetry to music. Together with bassist, composer, and producer Paul Kleber, she rediscovers the work of her namesake, the lyricist Anna Margolin (1887–1952). The songs are interpreted by an accomplished and versatile international quartet, whose sound moves fluidly between folk, soul, and electronic - a broad, melodic take on contemporary jazz. Margolinas concert programs had taken her from the Black Forest Festival to the stage of Konzerthaus Berlin and ZigZag Jazzclub and made her a sought-after guest at cultural institutions such as Exilmuseum. As a lead singer she performed with a Big Band at the Berliner Philharmonie, Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt, Laeiszhalle, Konzerthaus Dortmund and many more. Her original work was featured by +25 national radio stations and got co-funded by the Berlin Senate, Szloma-Albam-Stiftung, Initiative Musik and private patrons.
