Die Band um Anna Margolina zelebriert das Great American Songbook und spielt an diesem Abend auch ihre Eigenkompositionen, die sie als Debütalbum veröffentlicht haben. Jazzradio Berlin schreibt: “In Anbetracht des Sounds der Band hätte man sich glatt in die Ära des Jazz träumen können: In eine New Yorker Clublounge, während die Leute tanzen und Cocktails trinken. Man wartete regelrecht darauf, dass sich Frank Sinatra mit einem Glas Whiskey in der Hand unters Publikum mischt und sich die Sängerin aufs Klavier legt.” In “One Endless Night” (XJAZZ!Music) verarbeitet die Jazzsängerin Anna Margolina ihre Einreise aus Minsk nach Berlin vor 30 Jahren - die Songs beschreiben Episoden aus ihrem Leben, die sie bis heute prägen. Gerade jetzt lohnt es sich, mehr denn je, eine hoffnungsvolle Geschichte des Ankommens zu erzählen.

Jazz Radio Berlin writes: "Considering the sound of the band, you could have easily dreamed yourself into the era of jazz: Into a New York club lounge, while people were dancing and drinking cocktails. You were literally waiting for Frank Sinatra to mingle with the audience with a glass of whiskey in his hand, and for the singer to lie down on the piano." Her debut album “One Endless Night” is a personal remembrance of her immigration story from Minsk to Berlin. After 30 years since her arrival, it shares Anna`s experience of abandonment and loneliness, the search for new identity and a sense of belonging - opening up a much broader perspective, than that of a typical biography.
